Hidden Dangers in the Home Environment!
  • Don’t let children play alone near windows or balconies without railings, even for a moment
  • After using hot water kettles, irons and other high-temperature appliances, place them out of children’s reach to avoid burns
  • Keep wires neatly stored; don’t let children pull or bite them to prevent electric shocks
  • Dangerous items such as medicines, cleaning agents and cosmetics should be kept in locked drawers or high cabinets, and children must not have access to them
  • Don’t give toys with small parts (such as buttons, beads) to children under 3 years old to prevent accidental swallowing
  • Never leave a child unattended during a bath, even for a few seconds, to prevent drowning or slipping
  • Don’t let children climb stairs or high furniture (such as wardrobes, windowsills) alone, as they may fall
  • Don’t feed children large pieces of uncut food, and don’t give nuts, jelly or hard candy to children under 3 years old to avoid choking
  • Don’t let children run while eating, or tease or rush them while they’re eating to prevent food from getting stuck in their throats
  • When infants are sleeping, don’t put plush toys, scarves or other items that may cover their mouths and noses on the bed
  • Don’t let children come into contact with fire sources such as lighters and matches, and don’t let them use sharp objects like scissors and kitchen knives alone
  • Toilets should be fitted with safety locks; don’t let children play alone in the bathroom to prevent falling in
  • Don’t dress children in clothes with long strings or easily detachable small decorations to avoid entanglement or accidental swallowing
  • Keep children away from electric heaters and electric blankets when in use, and don’t cover flammable objects on them to prevent fires
  • Don’t give children underheated milk or supplementary food, and don’t let them eat raw or undercooked meat and eggs to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort
  • Keep children away when using open flames in the kitchen, and don’t leave them alone in the kitchen to prevent accidents
  • Don’t leave infants alone in strollers or car seats, even for a short time
  • Don’t let children play with curtain cords or blinds cords, and never let the cords wrap around their necks
  • In case of gas leakage, don’t switch on electrical appliances or use open flames; ventilate immediately and close the main valve
  • Furniture corners should be protected; don’t let children run and play around them to prevent collisions and injuries
Getting Close to Water Sources Is Like Playing with Fire!
  • Don’t let kids run and jump near rivers, lakes, ponds without railings – even shallow water can cause slipping
  • Don’t let go of kids near swimming pools or fountain pools – they might fall in while chasing a small ball
  • Stay away from drains and gutters on rainy days – there may be deep pits under the stagnant water
  • When on a boat or rowing, never let kids get close to the edge without wearing life jackets
  • Be Alert to Traffic Blind Spots!
  • Don’t look at your phone when crossing the road! Even for 10 seconds, kids might suddenly rush into the road
  • No running around in the community! There are many vehicle blind spots, and drivers can’t see small children at all
  • Don’t push strollers too fast; stop steadily when entering or exiting elevator doors and unit doors to prevent hand pinching
  • Hold kids tightly in parking lots; don’t let them squat down to pick up things, as they might be hit by cars
  • Don’t Be Careless in Crowded Places!
  • Don’t let kids stand alone on shopping mall escalators – skirts and shoelaces might get caught
  • Don’t let go of kids in temple fairs or markets – they might get separated in the crowd in an instant
  • Don’t let kids wait outside fitting rooms or restrooms – they might run away in the blink of an eye
  • Don’t accept snacks from unfamiliar stalls, and don’t let kids touch small animals casually (for fear of bites/allergies)
Other Invisible Killers!
  • Don’t let kids be exposed to the sun for a long time in summer, especially at noon, as they might get heatstroke and dehydrate
  • Don’t let kids climb on park benches or stone piers – the edges are sharp and might cause head injuries
  • Don’t let kids pick wild flowers and grass by the roadside – they might have thorns or be poisonous
  • Don’t let kids stand on the pedals of shared bikes – they might fly off when braking suddenly
  • Finally, a reminder: Make sure the foreign domestic helper memorizes the parents’ phone number and home address. It’s better to put an anti-lost bracelet on the child! The string of safety must never be loosened for a moment~
